Foundry Dental Center

Some 40 years ago, the Foundry Rescue Mission was formed to care for the hurting and homeless in the Birmingham community. Today, hundreds of people are seek care each year in this faith-based ministry dedicated tohelping people break the bondage of addiction.

The dental clinic, which is a separate but associated ministry of the Foundry Rescue Mission, started in an effort to provide dental care to Foundry residents. The need for dental work in the recovering addict is often tremendous, and the pain of infected teeth and an inability to smile was hurting the recovery process for many Foundry residents.

Growth of the Foundry Dental Center has been tremendous. The clinic now cares for patients from over 10 local recovery programs and homeless shelters, as well as underserved individuals in the community. We offer advanced training for AEGD clinicans in almost all aspects of general dentistry, especially dental implants (surgical and restorative), exodontia, prosthodontics, sedation, and rotary endodontics.
